MHNP Consulting provides confidential and affordable services for families, couples and individuals.

• Provide a comprehensive mental health assessment, clarification and confirmation of diagnosis with a recommended treatment plan. No formal diagnosis required for referral under NP private services.

• Neurodevelopmental assessment - ADOS and ADHD outcome measures

• Undertake ongoing mental health examination and monitor progress

• Arranging any necessary diagnostic investigations to confirm mental health diagnosis.

• Referrals to relevant healthcare providers and medical speciaist

• Prescribing and review of psychotropic medications where necessary

• Develop an individualized recovery plan.

• Psychotherapeutic modalities

  -   Muli-Theroretical Psychotherapy method is used which looks at               thoughts, actions, feelings that interact and shape the biological,             interpersonal, systemic and cultural aspects of individual’s lives.

  -   Acceptance Commitment Therapy

  -   Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

  -   Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

      -   EMDR​

      -   Brief Intervention, Solution and Narrative focused approaches                       along with psychoeducation depending on the presenting concerns.​

      -  Animal assisted therapy concepts incorporated into therapy plans.

Fees 

• All NP Consultations receive a Medicare rebate based on length of consultation time. NP consultations offer an unlimited number of sessions available with a Medicare rebate. Send a message via contacts to receive the most recent price list. 

• Subsidised funding - Please ensure your doctor or referring agency have provided you with all the relevant documentation confirming your eligibility for funding in order to avoid being charged the consultation fee.

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling fee:

Credit card details are taken to confirm booked appointments.  You will receive a reminder email 5 days before your appointment.

PLEASE NOTIFY MHNP CONSULTING IF YOU NO LONGER REQUIRE THE APPOINTMENT SO IT CAN BE GIVEN TO THE NEXT PERSON ON THE WAITING LIST. Booking of consultation rooms involves a cost to the service provider and short notice cancelations or rescheduling cause a limited ability to offer the appointment to other clients therefore fees apply for all cancellations and rescheduling less than 5 working days for full fee, subsidised and bulk billed clients. Thank you for your thoughtfulness regarding bookings obligations.
